A story (in case you want to be entertained)
So last week I was diagnosed with Bronchitis and I was given some wonder-drug antibiotic. All was well and good until last night when I started vomiting blood. The first time it happened I just pretended like nothing was new and went on through my day. The second time I went to the ER because I figured that if it happens twice I can't be hallucinating.
It turns out that the antibiotic tricked my macrophages into thinking the lining of my stomach was dirty dirty bacteria, so the macrophages were like "yummy yummy robbie tummy" and ate the lining away, causing my stomach to bleed out. Doctors proceeded to give me a saline drip and some new antibiotics.
The worst part is that I can't drink any liquor for two weeks (or have any blood thinners like accetemenophin or ibeuprofin). Damn! Maybe they just mean "liquor more than 80 proof", eh?
