There was a M-M-M-MONSTER RAIN today in Riga! It was raining whales and elephants and friggin' space stations! ><
I think this was the heaviest shower in like years.
Also, now I'm tottaly convinced -- my favourite weather -- rainy day/storm. I also seem to feel myself the best physically and mentally when the weather is rainy.
Anyway, a video of the afthermath via

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLuzKZaQKeY I'm surprised that only some cars stopped -- I thought at least 90% would die. Because of the exhaust pipe covered with water, thus preventing exhaust gasses leaving the engine and because of the direct contact of the very hot engine with cool water, which should've led to rapid contraction of the outer hull of the engine, jamming some mechanisms inside, all those valves and stuff. Or maybe modern cars have their engines better protected? Weird.
