Here's a lot of me Bitching about my new job.

Well in case anyone was wondering, I started my new job. It's kind of a pain in the ass, but it pays really good and that's what I need. I'm working overnight at the United Liquors warehouse. To give you an idea of this place, picture a Home Depot, double it, and fill it with cases of liquor... that's where I work. I started tuesday night because they were really busy and needed extra guys on. I was told it was an 8:30pm to 5am shift, but they called me in at 8, and due to some mechanical problems we were set back and I didn't punch out until 8:10am. That's right, I spent 12 hours working while you little shits were out for the night or sleeping. I work on a module, which basically means I'm given a list of cases of alcohol that are at my disposal, and I put them on a conveyor belt in the order they're given to me. Sounds easy, right? Well as it turns out, the oders come in waves. Each wave consisted of an average of about 45 cases. As soon as we finished one wave, we had to start the next immediately. There were 137 waves on tuesday night, meaning that if you just estimate using the average amount of cases, that's 6165 cases total. now assuming the guy that I was working with did his fair share of the work, which he didn't, I would've done about 3080 cases or so, but I ended up doing upwards of 4000 when you factor in the other dude and the fact that some waves had over 100 cases in them.

Well needless to say, I was pretty tired when I got home at quarter to 9, and I went to sleep around 9:30. I got up again around 2:30 cause I couldn't sleep anymore. I went back to work at D'Angelo's 4-9 and dicked around there all night, then came home, spent some time online, and went to bed. I'm awake now, it's about 10:30 on Thursday. I have to pull another all nighter tonight, then Friday I'm working 5-10 at D'Angelo's, and i gotta get up and work 11-4 the next day. FUCK WORKING! Eh oh well, I'm going to quit D'Angelo's pending my drug test on Friday, so It'll be alright.
