Alright, this is more posts in a week than I have done in a friggin month... but it had to be done. First of hockey is awesome and the Utica Lygers should go to the store and purchase a couple of gallons of game.

Onto the education: Points, Driving Record, Insurance Record and You!

Here is how it works, it case you don't know. There are, I believe 4 different scenarios for the outcome of a ticket:

1. Thrown out cause the cop never shows
- no points on insurance record
- no points on driving record
- no money owed?
2. You plea the ticket down to an UNABSTRACTED, no point offence (i.e. impeading traffic)
- no points on insurance record
- no points on driving record
- money owed
3. You plea the ticket down to an ABSTRACTED, no point offence (i.e. 5 or less over speeding)
- points on insurance record
- no points on driving record
- money owed
4. You plea the ticket down to an ABSTRACTED, some point offence
- points on insurance record
- points on driving record
- money owed

So basically you have to listen for two things, is the final call abstracted (affects insurance) and does it carry points (affects driving record).
