Dear Livejournal,
Last semester was hellish. 6 classes: Statistics, Psychological Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Organizational Behavior Psychology, Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Ideology. T/Th I had class 1:40-5:45pm with no breaks, holy shit. I ended up with 3 Cs, 2 Bs and 1 A. Not the best semester but I survived and passed Statistics which means I can continue on as a Psychology major. Oh and I'm actually a Psychology & Criminal Justice major now, I'll get one degree that will say Psychology and Criminal Justice on it, they call it a 2nd major. The other option was being a double major and that would mean 150something credits and I don't want to stay an extra semester for that.
This semester will be much better, 4 classes: Experimental Pysch, History and Systems of Psychology, Gender and the Administration of Justice, Constitutional Issues in Criminal Justice. There will be a lot of writing, but I'm really going to push this semester and try to get straight As. I've never done that before, these classes would be a great time to start and it would really help my GPA.
I'm secretary of WBNY for this semester. This means I get to order and pick up copies of stuff, get the mail and go to e-board meetings. I wish Ben would stop worrying about not knowing the music and just change add 20 of the prescribed adds each week to rotation. Whatever. I had my first radio show of the semester and I played lots of singy music, by that I mean Ambulette, Denali, Holy Roman Empire, Lemuria, The Fire Theft, and anything I knew the lyrics to and felt like belting out to the walls. Sam has the show after me now but apparently didn't realize that Saturday night sorta technically is 1-3am on Saturdays. But when I called him he came right over and I helped him pick rotation so hopefully he did fine on his first show alone ever. Everyone praises my former trainee Ryan as being awesome for filling out his logs and doing his job which makes me very happy.
We have a new food court and it indeed is like we're at a real college in the movies or at the mall. They even got a better brand of veggie burgers so now I can get a vegetarian fast food combo hah. I can't find any soymilk or breakfast food though.
My roomate and I are kinda talking more then usual which is nice. As long as she doesn't put up anymore Christmas lights and want them on 24/7 I'll be happy. Apparently she came in at 2am the other day with some dude and was in the room being loud but when my suitemate walked by and looked in I was still totally asleep. I guess I just get super tired and the earplugs help me ignore everything even though in the begining of the year I woke up a few times when she came in.
I think I'm going to write up a formal complaint against my complex director for being a complete douchebag about my bike. I hope he looses his job and ends up working as a subordinent at McDonalds.
My grandparents gave all their grandchildren ton of money in December. I'm probably going to buy a car with that and my savings this summer.
I have so many shows/possible shows coming up. So much funny stuff going on with other promoters being lazy and ending up fucked, I'm quite glad I have organizational skills.
