If I havn't taught you the sign for awesome it's
definatly been too long since I've seen you. I've been a busy girl,
multiple NYPIRG meetings and registering people to vote or getting
petitions signed, students for peace, pride alliance and radio. I have
the best timeslot ever, oh wait it's 1-3am saturday morning. But that's
okay because I can play songs with swears and it's fun to fuck over
your sleep schedule.
I've been home twice in October and got to hang out with Syracuse kids in various situations. Last weekend I found out Danny got me a ride midnight friday morning with Vinnie and James. Mommy was surprised but it was fine and I got to Syracus around 9 friday night. Saturday morningI went to a wegmanscruelty(.com) protest in cicero with Hex, Amber and Billy. Great location and the traffic pattern worked for us.
After some errands and minus Hex we went to ED(earth defense) training where we climbed trees and set up a tripod. Check out the pictures I took of that here http://photobucket.com/albums/v369/lazyhyperchick/ED%20training/ Transporting those metal poles from house up a huge hill and back again wasn't too fun but everything else went smoothly. There were some apple trees up there and it was cool to be able to eat something grown without human intervention.
After getting rid of the poles Billy and I picked up Amy and he drove us to Fulton for the Turmoil show. Along with most of the people there I was blown away by Turmoil and quickly picked up their discography. Did you know peanutchews(.com) are damn tasty and vegan? I swear that's not random because I picked one up from Amber's table along with a free wegmans cruelty dvd. I got to talk to Darren who I never and a bunch of other people. After that day I definatly slept well.
Sunday wasn't so busy, got a huge CD holder and loaded all of my CDs then it was time for Skalloween. Arrived early and waited for bands and sound to arrive and load in; spent a good amount of time talking to the Westbound Train dudes. Everything went smoothly, tons of kids came and everybody was super hot and sweaty and happy. The only shitty thing occurred when some morons tried to not pay and sneak in beer, I dealt with that. Jerry, Bananas and Erin showed up which was very cool. Incredible weekend.
