(no subject)
Well I went to my old schools awards night last night. 2 ½ hours of sitting on my butt. It was good though - one of my best friends got the “Caltex All Rounder” award, which is kind of like the dux of everything. It was so odd; to think that on the 19th of November I’ve been out of school for a year. I love the not going to school everyday thing but I really miss the social aspect particularly concert and jazz band (yes I was and still consider myself a music geek :P 1 year trumpet, 1 year clarinet, and three years bass clarinet.) I miss playing so much, me Bon and Dan = Killer bass section. *Sigh* Anyway it would seem that corporate sponsorship has overtaken and Hendra are now a “Boeing Australia Affiliated school” - complete with a giant painted aeroplane on the side of the hall. Yeah I don’t know maybe that’s the way the world is going … like that episode of the Simpson’s.
If you have two Pepsi’s and you drink one, how much more refreshed are you? You the redhead in the Chicago school system?

I got my remus_reads fic back from beta. It’s looking good. My darling beta pointed out my stupidity in a couple of places as well as fixing my atrocious grammar. She made the point it could be fleshed out in bits which, if I have the time I definitely plan on doing. That’s my problem when I write fic, I think. My brain works sooo much faster than my hands ever could, so I end up with a very to the point - and sometimes stale fic.
Anyway that’s enough babbling for me.
