Groovelicious!!
Heeey! Well yeah, yomie and I went to groove last nite!! Sooo fun :D But really really really hot. Okay, here's a brief recount of the evening...
We rocked up at the Troccadero at a bit past 7, doors were meant to open at 7, and it was sold out (lucky we had tickets) so yeah other ppl were trying to buy tickets off other ppl and stuff. hehehe that was funny :P We saw Daniah, her sister Catrina, and Luke out the front which was fun. We lined up at around 7:30, and got in at about 8:15...it took awhile cuz we had to get metal detector stuff done and yeah. hehehe one guy was booked for underage drinking by the cops which was quite amusing, and he looked pretty damn scared too hehehe. But, two things i must mention:
1) Smoking makes ppl ugly, especially chicks.
2) Trashy outfits also make ppl ugly, especially chicks. It really really sucks when u got a hot chick wearing an outfit that looks like shit. I mean fricken hell...dont u ppl have a mirror or something?! But yeah, i think every chick was wearing at least 1 item from supre (me included, sadly) but yeah...the retro look seems to be in at the moment with the spots and stripes and it looks SHIT. I mean really girls, pink and brown just DONT GO. Neither do green "dresses" with white polka dots!! Wat are u thinking?!?! And that whole ripped clothes look...arghhhh!!!
Moving right along.
The RnB room was bigger than dance room, but both were pretty fun. We changed between the rooms whenever we felt like it which was fun fun. Sooo hot tho...not v. fun when u bump into guys that are drenched in sweat.
We also saw Gina, Danni, Micheal Randle, Grace, Jade, Jess Tandy, Hannah Swan, Mark Farrow and some other ppl from somerset, past students too. There were also wannabes of every sort - wannabe homies, wannabe goths, wannabe sluts, wannabe punks, the list goes on.
All in all, it was quite fun, tho the venue wasnt that good. And yes, I did get slapped on the ass twice in the rnb room, and felt up once in the dance room :P
Oh yeah, we also saw Andrea and Victoria Brown once we'd left, which was about 11:30. But yeah, it was fun! :D ima happy!
