the wonders of technology
I am definitely enjoying being part-time - because at the moment I have a good-old dose of the flu. I blame Jessie for wanting the windows open all the way back to London from Hitchin on Saturday - godamned car-sick-ness. The next morning I woke up with a sore throat, running nose and aching limbs. Why is it good being sick and being part time? When I was sick and full time, it meant that there were days when other teachers had to teach my classes, and the kids were missing out. Now, no-one's missing out apart from me because I'm not being paid. Still, the 'no-stress' aspect makes me smile :)
So why the 'wonders of technology'? Well, I left my phone charger at work, so I tried to see if I could charge my mobile on the laptop - I can! And not only that, I can use the internet from my phone on the laptop :) YAY ... I LOVE technology.
It's all got very busy again - I'm trying to pick and choose my jobs now - as I still have quite a bit of editing to do. I've almost finished the Shimmyshake pics:
Then I have the photos from Kim and James' wedding and To The Beat of the Drum to edit. I still haven't even finished all of the Amanda Palmer ones! DUH!
Still, I need to sleep. So very very tired.
