(no subject)
i am in love with puppets!!! My roommate amy took a class called art of the puppet here and they put on their final project show tonight- oh my goodness I have not laughed that hard at puppets! It was amazing and I love puppets a whole freakin lot- the end
it's raining lots right now and i like that- also the waves have been out of control awesome
so I am leaving at the end of this week
i don't know if i am ready- i love it here far too much
last friday night brett lead us to the bar, and by that i mean he was witty and really we went over to bar island across the sand bar via the moonlight and stars. it was sweetness, there was 8 of us hiking through the woods to get to the top of bar island in the middle of the night- the stars were gorgeous and there is definitely something to be said for the darkness of the woods.
the next morning was gorgeous and geena and i got up and walked along the shore path- so freakin beautiful- and town is absolutely dead and i love it- no more obnoxious cruise ships!
So thanksgiving should be awesome- i get to explain eight million times over what the hell i am doing in maine and what human ecology is- family is always interesting never mind my craziness of maine and the obscurity of human ecology- thank gahd for the pies and mashed potatoes.
oh lastly for my own entertainment i will inform you of more mice ancedotes- they chewed all of the toothbrushes that were in our bathroom downstairs- they've eaten my soap and totally destroyed the box that my cards were in, and lastly their feces have been on my desk- these mice are ridiculous by all measures
