You are also Danish, aren't you? And a Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer fan?

I would like to add you. :)

I'm Dutch, actually, but I LOVE Scandinavia and I absolutely ♥ the Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer 8) & I don't speak Danish, nor can I write it, but can read it...well...most of it, not all =P Your journal would be the best way to learn it better, I guess ;)
Anyway...sorry for this huge piece of rambling...I've added you back ;)

Dutch? I'm impressed you can make out/read Danish (and other Scandinavian languages as well) then - do you take some courses or something or are you just gifted in the language way? Hihi. :)

Your language is double Dutch to me. :P

I'm not that good in English either - so our journals are good for the other part it seems. ^.~

I love "huge piece of 'rambling'" (I don't think (introducing) words are rambling - I think communication (small or bigger) is the greatest!

/Another Dolls fan. :)
Which songs are your favorites?

I adore "The Jeep Song", "Sing", "Half Jack" and "Good Day".

Hahah =P Well...like I said...I don't understand everything in Danish, just most of it =). And no, I'm not gifted with that, lol =P. I don't know why exactly, but I'm totally in love with Scandinavia and especially Sweden...so I tried to learn Swedish myself. That was pretty difficult, and since I have other homework as well, I quit doing it...but at least now I know the basic grammar/sentences and stuff like that. Danish is a bit like Swedish, and a bit like German and even Dutch sometimes...so together, it's not that difficult to read ;)
(Luckily you love communication/rambling...since I'm rambling again hahah=P)
About the Dolls...I ♥ Half Jack! =D It's my most favourite song...I also love Good Day, Truce & Thirty Whacks...but the ones you mentioned are great too...I love most of the songs, actually =P

It's an examination and trial every time you have to learn another language (especially if you do it yourself without a teacher).

I think you're a pretty good "understander" and I'm still very impressed. :)

I'm a rambler myself, you see? So don't think about how many words you use, please. :P

"I run as fast as I can run, but Jack comes tumbling after." I love that place in "Half Jack". *blessed* :)

And

"God it's been a lovely day! Everything is going my way
I took out the trash today and I'm on fire ..."

I don't know "Thirty Whacks". o_O Disorderly when I call myself a fan!

Well thank you...=)
& I'm happy you're a rambler too, so we can ramble a lot together 8) =D
I sooo love Half Jack, I think it's their best song...=) And from Good Day, I also love these lines:
'I picked up the pieces of my broken ego...I have finally made my peace as far as you and me go...' =D
& Of course: 'I'd like to do more than survive, I'd like to rub it in your face!' =P lol...
Hahah, in the beginning I didn't know Thirty Whacks either...and I still don't know each song...they just have a lot of songs =P

No, we don't have to feel bad about the big suitcases of words we manufacture. (I don't think, in general, people have to be so scared about how many signs they use). :)

*sings the ego-line*

An evening my friend sent me a link to a website with all the mp3-files of The Dresden Dolls' songs - I have to find it again and save some more songs. n_n Maybe the "Thirty Whacks"? :)

I also have to give Emily another chance - or rather MySpace - it didn't want to play her songs an hour ago. o_O

Yeah you should listen to Thirty Whacks! I hope you like it! ;) & too bad myspace didn't work...it just doesn't sometimes, very annoying =P
Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention it in one of the previous comments: Nope, we don't have gaybars or anything in my village (trust me when I say it's a reaaally small one=P), but even if we had it, I wouldn't go there...I kinda feel like the people that are there, are only there to hit on you (me)...and that just doesn't feel nice, if you know what I mean =P
I actually looked Odense up in my Atlas...so I've been researching as well 8) ;)
