This is a repost from the Blogspot account that I started today. We just discovered that my niece's little boy, three years old, was diagnosed with leukemia. I'm posting her blogspot on all of my internet places in hopes that those so inclined will add their prayers and good wishes to ours for this darling child.
I joined this site today because my beautiful niece's sweet, special little boy was diagnosed with a hideous disease, and I want to be able to follow their journey through his treatment and eventual CURE. I want to support them in any way possible so I am adding this to my list of online sites, and asking anyone who stumbles across it to PRAY for Gideon James Schripsema, and follow my niece and the rest of their wonderful, loving, terrific family through this trying time:

With all our prayers, God willing, we can pull them through this and help this precious child grow healthy and strong for all the rest of his years! I'm not a religious person, not given much to praying, but for this... for this heartbreakingly adorable child... I will do ANYTHING.
God bless Amanda, Tom, Brody and Gideon... may He shine His light on their entire family... may He give them all the hope, strength, tenacity, and light they need to see their way through this.
Of all the kids in this family, he is the one that most reminds me of my Steven when he was that age... sweet, smiling, kind, lovable, and oh-so-bright. My thanks in advance to all who contribute their prayers and good wishes.
