I plan on buying an Xbox at some point purely to play these two games. James and I spent a lot of last summer pwning the fuck out out of them and eventually beating them. Seriously... two of the best games I've ever played.
James and I refer to Obscure as "School For The Gifted Silent Hill". We call it this because it has a lot in common with Silent Hill. Redeemer is my favorite of the two, but Obscure is hilarious. I liked it because it was a good game AND it was funny. The "powers" of the characters are like... "I can run fast!" "I know when there is something we need in this room" "I hit hard" and "I can pick locks. hurrr". We spent a lot of time making fun of the characters... and it was fun. The game itself is good, to, obviously. It's all aboot this corrupted school and the principal's and his deformed brother being these crazed scientist using some deforming solution on students. They are using it on the students because they are trying to make an antidote and need human testers and such. You have to search the school and the grounds around it for clues and fight off monsters that used to be your friends and shit... and eventually you have to defeat the scientist dude in this epic battle of doom. Mmmph I miss it.
Redeemer... GAH! I just absolutely LOVE that game. I congratulate White Wolf on the beautiful graphics and the very nice plot. I liked being able to choose whether I want to melee, range, or spell attack. I've actually yet to play the first Hunter: The Reckoning... but I plan on it. It would be nice to know the whole backstory of Kaylie. Speaking of Kaylie... niiiiiiiiiice tits. :] Yeah... being able to have more than one person playing at is an aspect of both of these games that I enjoyed. :] In Redeemer you get to fight freakin vampires and werewolves, okay? It's awesome. The bossfights are pretty nice, too. As you go along you can unlock other characters and weaponry and shit. I miss this game, too. :[
Anyway...
JJ will be here tomorrow.... and HOPEFULLYYYY Drake. Coz srsly... if cracky the crackhead fucked his car up... I'ma have to go down there and fuck up some fiends. for sure. That's really all that is on my mind... I think I'm gonna go play more WoW. :]
