Spring Break
I'm stealing Danielle's idea so bare with me.
Over Spring Break my school, Emmanuel College is hosting an Alternative Sprink Break in Pheonix Arizona. There are currently 21 people going ont his trip. It is aimed at serving and volunteering in Pheonix to help the homeless and less fortunate in the area.
There are four seperate volunteer organizations all of us will be going to. There will be four or five students at each location along with one or two faculty members.
I am volunteering at Maggie's Place which helps pregnant woman living at or below the poverty level. I will be cooking, cleaning, babysitting, and caring for different woman. I love volunteering and am beyond excited to go. I believe this is what God wants me to do with my Spring break and I couldn't be happier.
The cost of the trip is $600 and $350.00 is already paid for but I need to raise $250.00 more to be able to go. I don't usually ask for help but this is very important to me and is for a great cause. If you could in any way big or small help me pay for the trip I would be so grateful.
