Long Time Coming.....

Hello my beautiful ones! I haven't written an actual entry since last week..I miss my journal! So since ASB....I've settled back into work..yuck..had an art History test that i got a 98 on..woo hoo..made a drawing for my mommy of the "Pieta"(Mary holding up the crucified Jesus) it turned out pretty well but I could have worked on it more..got my tatoo!!! I went home for the weekend and went to my little cousins bday party, saw my babies!! Went to dinner with Bre and talked to Kirby while he was at John Mayer...I was so jealous of my cousin Mandi who had meet n'greet passes...damn you..lol.Hung out with Wade...we chatted about my Grandpa..we both miss him so much...I told Wade not to have sex in my dad's car because my dad just gave him his pimped out Lincoln Towncar...and eewww gross images...don't do it! Ran to my sisters house to drop off her movies..then drove back to school, went to faith alive, then mass. Father Steve officially looked like a "pink peep"...yea Mel...way to make me crack up on the ALTAR! lol

Then this week I went to a discussin on The Passion of the Christ which was very interesting..did crazy amounts of homework...had lunch with my Mommy on monday because it was her birthday...did a few readings at an Outdoor Stations of the Cross presentation put on by Campus Ministry..hung out with Lindsay more which I was so happy about..got out of English 30 minutes early...did a ton more homework..watched American Idol and the America's Next Top Model finale..had a wicked good, refreshing long talk with Bre....then today I got a 100 on my Sign Language presentation woo hoo...had an awesome time with friends and the "God Squad" at International Hospitality Night...I officially love Indian music and I want to dance like those girls..oh and I never want to see Professor Murphy in overalls, a plaid shirt, and a straw hat doing the CHICKEN DANCE...omg! Then I went to the opening night performance of the College of the Fenway Alliance's production of "Quilt: A Musical Celebration" which is a play about the AIDS quilt. It was amazing!!! I teared up a million times and definetly cried when Elise sang her gorgeous song! *cough* Iwantacopyofthescript *cough* The actors did an amazing job..especially with the craziness of the actual production...they should all be really proud of themselves because they are all a part of something really important and meaningful. We may not have an A.I.D.S. epidemic right now in the U.S....but there is definetly one in Africa and they don't have the money to treat HIV and stop the onset of A.I.D.S....I need to get involved in some kind of A.I.D.S. group....Community Srvings is a start though..but they only help feed the effected A.I.D.S. patients in Boston and the surrounding area.

Tommorow I'm going thirft store shopping with Lindsay...anyone want to join us..we're going at about 11:30am. Then I'm going home unexpectedly because my little cousin Simmone's grandmother passed away so i'm going to the wake friday night and the funeral Sunday morning....this past week after I found out she was sick and going to die I kept thinking "I haven't been to a funeral since this summer..that feels like so long"..which is a sick thought but its true. After Saturday's funeral I will have been to 14 funerals...

"Simon Wilder: You asked the question, sir, now let me answer it. The beauty of the Constitution is that it can always be changed. The beauty of the Constitution is that it makes no set law other than faith in the wisdom of ordinary people to govern themselves.

Proffesor Pitkannan: Faith in the wisdom of the people is exactly what makes the Constitution incomplete and crude.

Simon Wilder: Crude? No, sir. Our "founding parents" were pompous, white, middle-aged farmers, but they were also great men. Because they knew one thing that all great men should know: that they didn't know everything. Sure, they'd make mistakes, but they made sure to leave a way to correct them. The president is not an "elected king," no matter how many bombs he can drop. Because the "crude" Constitution doesn't trust him. He's just a bum, okay Mr. Pitkannan? He's just a bum."~With Honors

Katie
