Some bad news
I just thought I'd post to let you all know what is going on.
My car was stolen Sunday morning from my parking complex sometime after I got home from DJing at Boca. Inside my car was all my DJing equipment and material...all of it. I made sure to bring everything so I have backup equipment when I spin. This also includes all of my CDs and everything else you have seen me spin with. There was no trace of my car when I went to drive it on Sunday...like it just disappeared.
All I know at this point was that my car was recovered Sunday night in a chop-shop bust in Thornton. I had LoJack which actually led the police to the shop. The car was 60% dismantled and no property was recovered. It was taken by a professional car thief gang and delivered to the shop by a 3rd party. It looks like they were actually after the car but ended up with the bonus of all my stuff as well. If you don't know I had a limited edition 2004 Subaru WRX STi; first production run in America. This is now an ongoing investigation and I'm working with the insurance companies. I may have a settlement in a month or so.
I plan to continue DJing but it will take me time to re-compile my things. I have a backup of my music on MP3 at home but it's unfortunate that my CDs where stolen as well as some of them were rare originals. I also hope to be selected as a Convergence 13 DJ and will have my system completed by then; but they are still in the selection process.
