As for your second question...I have to say that I just don't know. Maybe that's the beauty of it. With the divine possibly working in the mundane movements of the world; making simple things profound...perhaps that's where it's all at, but either way I wish I had a better answer for you.
On your first question the idea of a 'lesson' seems to take hold in my mind. You've done all you can. Maybe you screwed up. Maybe you were amazing. Either way it's obvious it's very raw and real to you...and perhaps the pain, the suffering the hardness that you're going through is all for some greater purpose. It's with our experiences that we come to relate and work with the people around us, and maybe this section of hardship is something you'll need to come back to at a later time. To me the concept of a soul lesson, that a soul must experience and learn from certain situations and ideas, seems like a plausible idea. Then again people used to think that you died because a flame within your heart blew out.
I guess the only comfort I can offer you is that what does not kill you will make you stronger. You're not as alone as you think you are, and whether you realize it or not there are always people you are unaware of who are on the sidelines and cheering their guts out for your team. <3
Thank you:) This... is going to haunt me for a long time, so I hope I choose a path to deal with it, rather than letting it gnaw at me. And I hope it's the right one.
