i need strength soooooooooooo bad
im so exhausted...my body is aching from head to toe and i just dont feel like i can make it to church tonight, OR anywhere else i am spose to be. and i have to take
FOUR
tests at school tomorrow and i really need to study for them.
im majorly struggling. like, HARDXCORE. i think i'm going to go to starbucks before church. maybe i'll be more alert and pay better attention.. what the heck am i rambling about again? i dont even know.
ive been thinking about a lot of stuff lately..expecially about certain people. its a challenge for me, to accept things...but im really proud of myself. oh well! life goes on yes?
anyways! its almost time to go to church. and i'm supposed to go to a Buddy Store party afterwards...that should be fun. yeah? anyways. i wrote this the other day when i was upset about things that were going on with my friends. i feel better about it now, but i just wanted to share it on here with the rest of you.

bye guys!

friendship is like fashion. think about it.
it comes and goes with the seasons.
you wear what you want, when you want
just like you make friends with who you want, when you want to.
i always keep my old clothes, caus they probly hold some sentimental value, or specialness. or one day they might need to be worn, or i might need to wear them.
just like i do with my old friends..

or you can do it the easy way
and just throw your old clothes out
and replace them with new ones. i tend to not really do that, but thats besides the point.
sometimes its funny how easy it is for some people to completely change their wardrobe.. i guess its just easier just to throw away old clothes and get new ones. kinda like with friends...yeah?

think in retrospect.

imagine two pairs of jeans.

one pair you got for 15 bucks. youve had them for 6 years. they fit you perfect, and they never shrink in the wash. they only have a few holes, but those are only holes made from memories. they are SO faithful, and you can always count on them to fit you JUST RIGHT.

now imagine the other pair...
brand new 150 dollar dark wash, Seven jeans. theyre a little fresh, kinda tight...not quite as comfy as the first pair. but they are SO cute and you just love the little pre made holes in the knees. you KNOW they are gona shrink in the wash, and they kinda make your butt look big, but you get want them anyways because they are just SO awsome.

your first instinct, is to probly go with the expensive, new jeans, right? the names well known, theyre trendy, and everyone loves them. sounds like a good plan. yea? cool.

Now... when those Nice 150 dollar jeans start to shrink, and the dark wash starts to fade and you see the jeans true colors...when those pre made holes just keep getting BIGGER and bigger and they are basically unwearable...what are you gona do? you remember, "oh yeah, thats right! i still have those faithfull old jeans in the bottom drawer of my dresser! i knew they would always be there! yeah! cool im so excited!"

well...those jeans might not wana be there once the owner gets tired of those new jeans. or, the owner could have just changed so much, that the old jeans and her just dont fit anymore.

right about now your probly thinking "rachel are you on CRACK!? friendship and pants have nothing to do with eachother..." but oh...contraire...

point of MY story...
always remember.
buy new jeans, but keep the old.

dont just assume that something will always be there for you...
because if you turn your back for a quick second, they just might be gone when you turn back around.
