One of my friend's sent me this! I'm not the only dumb ass girl? I feel a little better now! Here's what she wrote...

Then it dawned on me: no matter what conversation we are having, we somehow warp it into girl talk about the guys. You know, the bad ones, the assholes, the ones who dumped us and can’t get over, the ones we dumped cause they had blonde hair and were too boring or too nice, or both. Then I began to wonder: Are women unconsciously attracted to men who are assholes or so called “the bad guys”, the ones we call scum and steer our friends away from dating? If so, is the ending of bad relationship really what we want? Because that’s what inevitably happens when we date these losers: pain and heartache. Do we just want to be able to say “Welp, I tried”

Then I thought maybe.. sometimes, in some.. or most circumstances we use “boring” as a way to describe the nice ones. The ones that sit at home and watch TV, the ones that don’t really have many friends but the friends they have are good guys, the ones that don’t want to go out every night and would rather pop some popcorn and watch a movie. Why do women dream of these relationships and turn them down once the situation arises? I can’t count how many times I’ve turned down a nice guy because he was too shy or boring or creepy. Well, creepy is one thing. But why do I steer clear of the ones that might actually have some order in their life? Ones someone might consider boring because they have a routine.A routine that could be comforting.

Do I, as a woman, unconsciously search for men who have commitment issues because I myself have one? Am I scared that I might fall into a routine (something every girl dreams of eventually with marriage and kids and a job) that I may not be able to get out of if it doesn’t work? Then I realized I am. The one thing that I long for is the one thing I resist because if you think about it…a routine enforces habits.

And like habits, some relationships are bad for you. And the longer you’re in one, the harder it is to get out.
