valentine's day
josh and i were talking about valentine's day yesterday in the car. he asked if we were gonna do presents this year. we've never done presents before because i just don't see the point in using a generalized date on a calendar as an excuse to express our love to each other. we have a calendar date that we consider our own: december 12. we don't skip valentine's day just because we're two love hating losers. we actually do celebrate it, sort of. we always go to our favorite date place, orapax, for dinner but that's just about the extent. no flowers, no cards, no candy... well maybe some conversation hearts just because the white ones taste like pepto bismol. but anyway, i'm not exactly sure why i started this post about valentine's day. i guess i just felt guilty for abandoning my lj...? well here i am!
