(no subject)
Pretty much finished my Christmas shopping now, only 1 ebay item to sort out and a little present for someone else and it's all in the bag! I realised that I forgot the cellotape though, que es shite :\
So Friday night, top notch shenanigans in Bristol with Mike, Ben, Ed, Amy, Tom and myself all meeting up for Mike's 22nd in the White Hart, drinking a fair bit then moving on to the Croft by accident for some crazily bassed up hip-hop, which was nice! Ended up falli ng over quite a bit, injuring Mike and generally being a drunkard on the way back :) Got home at about 3 and proceeded to trash the house in a rock star fashion. Threw a whole massive crate of eggs all over Steve's window, then a full bottle of salad cream. The raining of salad cream was pretty but I lived to regret it the next day :p Now I have to pay for the house to be cleaned haha!
Saturday saw a hungover and generally sorry feeling Rich heading off to London in the wee hours to meet up with spidersex deadkidsongs & Amon_Zero. Naturally, I was running late as you like so we ended up getting to Amon_Zero's band jam a lot later than originally planned. WEe even waled past the studio and tried to get in through a Hell's Angel's private club. Needless to say, they pointed us in the right direction. Very friendly they were too! :p But hey, the jam was good :) Excellent to hear how the band have grown soundwise since I first heard the demo a few months back *nods* I'm looking forward to the album and a few live shows next year, it'll be great! Shame we didn't get to chat for longer but Rosie had to get home to psck for her move out of London. I couldn't let her go alone, so being the gentleman I am (plus my need to get changed) we left earlier than planned.
The plan was to go see Combichrist at Slimes but they were only letting members into the gig :( Ended up just going to the club, which I didn't think much of at all. I guess I just wasn't really in the mood. But I did spy robotochan & neo__geisha There! :) I was too scared to talk to them though obv :p Anywho, we left there early because of Rosie's stomach pains and taxied it home (Cheers to the slimes bouncers for sorting that for us!) And that was that.
Now I must mong out a bit before I head back to Pompey tomorrow for Xmas *nods*
