Other Characters:
notagamepiece Name: Bugs Bunny
From: Looney Tunes
Appearance:
Age: Timeless, but has been in the cartoon biz since 1940.
Gender: Male.
Personality: Bugs Bunny is the quintessential prankster and cartoon character. It could be said that every modern cartoon character owes their existence in some way or form to Bugs (and the rest of the Looney Tunes crew, of course). As such, he's everything you'd expect a cartoon protagonist to be: sarcastic, funny, quick-witted, and confident. He's frequently chased down by the antagonist of the moment, and while he acts scared, it is just an act; he's read ahead in the script, after all, and knows how it ends.
For the most part he's portrayed as an actor for Warner Brothers, with his cartoons being the show he stars in. That said, some of the episodes break through that idea and star Bugs Bunny the actor, as opposed to Bugs Bunny the character... not that there's much difference. It's really just a matter of how much he refers to the script or the audience - he breaks the fourth wall more as a character.
As previously mentioned, Bugs does have a strong tendency to break the fourth wall, a lot. He'll talk directly to the audience, refer to the script, etc. Of course, that's par for the course in Looney Tunes cartoons, so no one really says anything about it, save for the dumb ones that don't get to break the fourth wall. That may very well change in Ink City, of course.
Backstory: From early on in the hospital in which he was born (according to the cartoon "What's Up, Doc?"), Bugs knew he was different - a rabbit in a human world, as he put it. He quickly took to music and show business, and after a little bit of hardship and some crappy chorus roles, he finally got picked up by the vaudeville comedian Elmer Fudd. Together they toured the country with their act, though it really took off after one night in New York, Bugs modified the act and accidentally discoevering his catch phrase, "What's up, Doc?" From there, the people at Warner Brothers offered him a full time gig, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Moral Standing: Ostensibly good, but mostly just on the side of comedy.
Dreams: To be a big star (oh wait, he is), and all the carrots he could ever want.
Fears: Carrot famine and obscurity.
Extra: He's got the Hammerspace, Fast Build, and Quick-Change feats.
