Lady July

Jul 29, 2011 17:11

As I stumble through the chill of July
With white ghostly mist, each breath I exhale
Out where the maples do no longer sigh
Upon the calm sea of frost I do sail
To meet with the woman with fiery wings
Borne from heaven or hell, I do not know
As I surrender to the heat she brings
And the cold returns as I watch her go
Her beauty I will always remember
I will wait in silence 'til December
