So, a few days ago, I attempted to purchase an upgrade to Traktor Pro from
Native Instruments. I got through the whole order system and went to confirm the order... "We're sorry, you have encountered an error." No real explanation as to what kind of error it was, so I figured I might have typed in my credit card wrong.
"No matter," I thought to myself, "I'll just type it in again."
And it errored out. Again. With no explanation as to why.
I checked my bank statement and sure enough:
So I did what any sane person would do, I emailed their tech support that instant:

Subj: Error in Payment
Upon attempting to order the Traktor Pro upgrade (from Traktor 3), the checkout system displays that it has encountered an error and that I should contact support. I recently checked my credit card statement online and it says that the card was pre-authorized twice, coinciding with my attempts to place an order. Firstly, I want to make sure that I'm not going to be charged twice for two failed attempts. Secondly, I would still like to upgrade to Traktor Pro by purchasing an upgrade option.
I receive a response back today:

Hello Keith Lesinski,
Please make sure that the address in your user account matches the billing address of the card exactly. Our system seems to be overly picky about the formatting. If that doesn't work you would also try placing the order by using a credit card through PayPal.

Native Instruments Order Support
Are you fucking kidding me?
The card information matched to begin with otherwise the system would not have charged me in the first place. How is it the user's fault that NI can't seem to get their online ordering business straight?
Also, that transaction has been frozen for a few days now. I'm waiting for it to either clear or disappear. If it disappears, I'm fine. If it doesn't, well... NI will be getting one nasty email from this guy right here.
