Well, here's a basic summary of the goings on in my life:
The bad:
-Work's draining my energy hardcore right now. I've worked overtime three weeks in a row, this week being the largest with me clocking in at about 47 hours. The money's nice to have, though (Overtime, which is over forty hours, is time and a half for me).
-There's little to no hope of me being back on the road when I'm supposed to. I need to do the following to pull it off:
Get my Saturn into Woody's
Get it repaired
Get it insured
Given, my next paycheck could probably handle all that on its own, but I've got other shit to pay for, not to mention the $100 license reinstatement fee. Hopefully, I'll be driving again by mid-May, as I plan to take my car in to Woody's this week, get it looked at and at least find out what's wrong. I can afford that much right now.
-Today was Chad's last day at You Oughtta Be In Pictures. The short time he worked there was awesome, we had some good talks and fun times.
-I'm still fucking single. It's now officially been over a year. I should just reside myself to being alone forever. I don't even have a solid prospect to begin with. Ugh!
-I forgot Nikki's birthday when I specifically planned not to miss ANY birthdays for this year. Sorry Nikki.
Now, the Good:
-Happy birthday Walker!
-I should be able to afford a birthday present for Chris, something I was worried about.
-Work's been going quite well money wise. The only problem is that sales blow right now, I've only done about $4500 this month.
-The weather is beautiful.
-I'm goin' to Dane fucking Cook with a shit ton of awesome people: Chad, Mike, Chris, Rachel, Jeanette and Mike's friend Jen. Chad made us ALL T-shirts that say "Fuck Bees, Fuck Shoes, Fuck You" and have a picture of a Monkey fucking a coconut on the back. We're gonna all stand together and try and get the one we made Dane Cook up on stage.
-I bought tickets to the midnight showing of Episode III for Chad and I. Chris and Rachel are going, too. Walker's interested and I need to talk to Dave and Adam as they'll probably want in. Anyone else who's interested should call me and we'll iron out the details.
-My bedroom looks like a bedroom finally! It's coated in posters and photos. The only wall left is room leftover for posters for Episodes I-III. I was going to get an Episode III poster at Suncoast, but it was bigger than my original trilogy posters.
-The Red Sox seem to be hitting a groove. It's been a fun season so far.
Time for random musings: May will be the best month ever. I should start driving again by then, it's going to be camping season, Episode III comes out, Family Guy is coming back, American Dad is starting and the new System of a Down album comes out.
I need Warped Tour tickets, that's definitely the big concert this year for me. Chad and I are talking about getting cheap lawn seats for Ozzfest and ditching after second stage finishes up with Rob Zombie.
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap fucking rocks. Bought it used the other day, as well as Link's Adventure and Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (Which I've been searching for for about two years).
Chris gave me a brilliant idea. I was contemplating selling all my CD's at Newbies, but he brought up the possibility of EBaying them. I started cruising Ebay and saw that I actually could make decent money off mine. I'm going to have to count them, package them and get myself an Ebay account, I could get close to a grand for all my CD's (My collection is huge, possibly exceeding 400 albums). I have them all on my computer, my iPod and MP3 CD's and a few DVD's, so there's really no need to hold on to them. Selling them would put a huge dent in my bills.
I broke the law tonight, bought Mike some Killian's. Take THAT Judge Dredd!
Well, I'm tired and that means I might get to bed before 6 AM for once. I'm gonna grab that opportunity! Especially since I've gotta work tomorrow.
