i thought that since Matt AND Zach were going to start writing about The Hexagon, i would too, just to put a little spin on things:
The whole feeling of being liked (or loved) is very strange. Sometimes you feel flattered, sometimes you're grossed out, sometimes you wish people would just leave you alone. But sometimes you feel all three, which leads you absolutely nowhere. Nowhere is precisely where i found myself. I was stuck as a link in a love hexagon, with five ways to turn and four ways to go wrong. The part that scared me the most was that it wasn't even a triangle, not even a sqaure, it was a HEXAGON; six players in a two-man game. I felt like a contestant on The Weakest Link. The only problem was that i couldn't get voted off, no matter how much i wanted to be. I was lost in the sickest game show, obstructed by flourescent lights that blinded my judgement. Still, though unsure of stability, i made a choice. Whether wrong or right, i do not know.
It is my belief that the hexagon started way before anyone realized it had. It began on a Friday afternoon. I was at my house with a few friends setting up a surprise party. The phone rang and lo and behold it was Matthew (Contestant #1). I hadn't seen him for several months and was very happy to hear from him. He invited me to a movie but i had other obligations. Later on that evening plans were made to go to his house the next day.
At this point in time i was dating Joey (Contestant #2) but Landon (Contestant #3) had been paying me special attention for quite some time. But i wasn't thinking of either when i left on Saturday morning.
I went to Matthew's house with my friend, Dezi and at the time Matthew thought he liked her. When we arrived at his house another person was there. Zach (Contestant #4) was a long time contender of the Laurah situation and though turned down kept striving (a tendency which gains my admiration). We hung out, played guitar, watch Ganonicle (sp?), and did whatever it is that teenagers do. However, the whole time i was there i couldn't stop thinking of Kris (Contestant #5). Kris, the beautiful, Bon Jovi look-a-like from a totally different part of the state. He was a master in the art of charm and seduction and had me hooked from the moment i saw his piercing blue eyes. He was everything i had ever dreamed about. He had a rockstar's face, a rockstar's body, a rockstar's talent, and a rockstar's life. I could have had him, but i think i'm smarter than that.
