The last week or so... give a day or two
Last Thursday--drove to Berkeley and home in one day with Brenda to look for a place to live in the fall. I ended up choosing to live on the third floor of the Sigma Nu frat house. It was too good of a deal to pass up. $500 a month (2500 a semester) including my own room, utilities paid and internet in the room. Plus it's right across the street from the East campus entrance. We looked at a nice place in North Berkeley, that was a lot more sanitary, but it was farther from the school and $120 more a month NOT including internet. So, yes, I'm livin in a frat house.
Last Weekend--Started watching Grey's Anatomy that we had Tivo'd forever. Pretty good show with grreat music. So far in the first 5 episodes they've had a Rilo Kiley song, Interpol, and 3 Tegan and Sara songs, among some others I can't recall. So yea, it's a great show and it makes we want to be a Doctor.
Monday-Wednesday--Went to Vegas with the fam. Jeff and I saw a Cirque Du Soleil play called Zumanity. It was pretty interesting. It was an acrobatic and artistic insight into human sexuality. Needless to say there was some nudity (SCORE). It was good, but not 95 bucks good! I still liked Blue Man Group better, which I saw about 2 years ago.
Thursday--Nada Goddamn thing.. besides more Grey's Anatomy and sorting thru the Lot of ties I bought on EBAY
Yesterday--Bought a mini refrigerator at Target for when I move. Planned on seeing Lords of Dogtown, but Frank, Mark and I went to On The Border and met up with Valerie, Brittany, Mikey, Patrick, Andy, Jodie, Anthony, and Evan. Had a few cocktails and then chilled at Patricks house for a bit.
