What havent I done this week??
I found out I have 75 completed units with a 4.85 GPA at Chaffey and can only transfer a max of 70 units. So its time to make some decisions. All week I've been going into the transfer center asking questions about various things, and I've been filling out school apps that are due by the end of this month. So far I'm applying to UCR, Berkley, and San Fran State. I'll most likely end up going to UCR, just cuz it commutable, but I would ideally like to "Go off to college." I'll have to seem how much financial support I can get tho..hmm.. I'm declaring a psychology major. I've been talking to my psych teacher all week too, the one that wrote Love Skills, asking her questions about the field, and stuff. I love social sciences in general, but I still have my roots in physical science. Psychology, in my opinion, does the best at integrating the two, when you get into BioPsych and Neuroscience and stuff like that. I think I would like to eventually become a licensed therapist, it sounds like it'd be cool. I want be well rounded. I don't want to do research my whole life, or even be a therapist my whole life. I'd like to maybe get my feet wet in some graduate research and then transfer that into a community college level teaching job with maybe a therapist side business... that'd be cool. But then I'm also still thinking about school counseling, depending on how my undergrad in stuff goes. I like the school and educational atmosphere, so I think I'd like to work within it. I was also doing some research on Forensic Psychology. This sounds awesome. Its basically the people that do criminal/serial killer profiling, and determine whether or not someone was in there right mind or not when committing a crime.. thats sooo CSI... but I don't know.. we'll see where life takes me... .. .
