(no subject)
So I'm back in Ottawa.
My homesickness of first semester evaporated by the end of the second, and now I kind of feel out of place here.
At times (when I'm with friends) it's as though nothing has changed, but then if I just walk around the city I no longer feel as though I'm at home.
I don't want to fully unpack because then it means I'm really staying.
4 months seems like an awfully long time right now- although I'm sure once I start working again everything will return to normal.
In the meantime I'm supposed to be organizing all the stuff that I still have from my childhood to get rid of the majority. My mother also wants me to start dressing more like an adult. But there's no way I could part with my backstreet boys or ninja turtles shirts.
It's really weird living with parents again. But I'm sure I'll become accustomed to it soon enough.
ahh this week is just a mark between two points, and it's hard to assert myself on a pinpoint.
