We had to put our cat down last night. We didn't even know she was so sick...a few weeks ago we took her to the vet because she was peeing all over the place and the vet said she was depressed because of Christopher. Turns out she wasn't depressed...she had thyroid cancer that resulted in kidney failure. We took her back to the vet yesterday because she was getting worse and losing lots of weight and the vet said he could maybe keep her alive for a day or so with an IV...but then after that she'd have to be hooked up to a dialysis machine at all times in order for her to live. That would've been awful for her and it would cost $1000 per month...so we had to euthanize her. I'm really upset about this and I keep looking for Kitty and I'm freaked out that she's not here. I miss her...
