Boots!!
Oh dear. I get so lazy with this thing. I come up with good ideas to post about - interesting things I've seen, random dreams, funny news articles. But I can just never put my thoughts into typing.
One thing that certainly deserves a mention is an awesome new airline that will be operating in America. I forget what its called, but its an airline dedicated to pets! It's so peoples pets dont have to go through the horror of being in a tiny dark cage in the dark luggage storage area on the airplane. This is such a sweet idea! It would cost a bit more than a regular flight, but it would be worth all the extra money I reckon. I would never put my pets through the horror of being on a regular airplane. The pets would be in bigger cages than normal, in the main cabin (space of the plane where the people usually sit). They would get checked on every 15/20 minutes. Before the flight they would get walkies and bathroom breaks. The service can only operate out of 5 airports, and the trips would take longer than standard flights - inclding an overnight stay where the pets can relax at the Pet Lounge. But in the end, it would be totally worth it i reckon! What a cute idea!!
I also looked up my uni results. I didnt realise that unlike highschool, you dont get your exam results -- just the overall unit grade. I got 3 D's and 1 C. At first i freaked out and thought I had practially failed all 4 units, until I remmebered that D was the 2nd highest mark you can get. (It goes HD (top mark), D, C, P (pass)... ) So w00t ! I did good! Beginners luck i suspect...
What else.. OH!! I GOT BOOTS !! FINALLY. I've been meaning to buy boots for the last few years but I just never got around to it/found boots that I really loved. Ellie and I were shopping around in the city on Wednesday and we popped into a shoe store because they were having a massive sale. We tried on probably 70% of the shoes in stock because most of them were just bloody hilarious! Ultra pointy, silly colours, strange decorations etc - god people come up with some really strange stuff o0;; Then we looked at some boots. I tried on a pair of shiny work-suitable boots, but I felt like i was walking in gumboots/wellingtons that had balls stuck to the bottom of them. My legs were swimming in them a bit... I think i have quite nice legs so I needed something tigher. Then i spotted what my sister described as 'goth' boots. Tall, black, chunky, and laced all the way to the top. I tried them on and i LOVED them!!! So i bought them!!! W00t!!!!!
(On the downside, I'm already pretty tall and these boots make me almost 3 inches taller ...... Dane said that when he comes over here I'm not allowed to wear them around him because he is already the tinest bit shorter than me!! xD poor guy <3 hehehe)
ALSO!! I bought a cute dress from eBay!! It should be here in about 14 days!! I'm very excited. I worked out the sizes, and it should be ok. Now i just need to see if it matches my awesome boots xD In the traditional sense, it doesnt match at all. Its a blue lolita dress.. which sorta clashes with big chunky boots. BUT! The dress reminds me of Alice (in Wonderland), so I'm going to go for the American McGee's Alice look!! Im psyched!!
In other news - I miss Dane like all hell. It feels like its been ages already but it hasnt even been a week yet =_+ hopefully time will go quicker when i get swamped by uni work
