New Year's Resolutions

Dec 31, 2004 16:27

So, the time has come, as we sit on the very edge of 2004, waiting to be pushed off into next year, to make our resolutions. Promises to ourselves, that we probably should keep, and so, unto you privelaged folk, I present mine:

My New Year's Resolutions
By Celeste

For the year of two thousand and five,
I plan for myself the fallowing life:
I shall continue to be a fat, lazy slob,
A willess fool with poor grades and morale,
I shall go to bed every night,
Knowing that I have done nothing to benefit,
The world or myself in any way shape or form,
I shall not have friends,
And those friends that I will not have,
Will never hangout with me, or make efforts to,
I will, however, get my hopes up,
Over silly, petty things, that everyone knows won't happen,
I won't finish projects, although I will start many,
I will not stop my websites from becoming idle,
And useless, like their owner,
I will not think about the future,
I'll forget about college,
I won't apply for scholarships,
And I won't be happy,
The little things will get to me,
I'll be weak and powerless,
I'll lose all faith in the world and things beyond,
And I'll take no for an answer.

And I suppose, if reverse psychology doesn't work, at least, in 2006, I'll be able to say, I kept a promise to myself.
