Spoiler

My name is Lily, and I have a confession to make. I love spoilers.

No, I didn’t mispronounce “hate”, I actually love spoilers.

Whenever I’m watching a film that I haven’t seen before, I won’t be able to watch it comfortably if I haven’t read the detailed plot of it on Wikipedia. I need to know what’s going to happen, who’s going to die and how many dogs were hurt during the movie. That’s why I hate watching films on its premiere, because then I wouldn’t be able to know how the story unfolds. I’m not sure why I’m like this, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I really hate surprises. When I’m watching a film, I need to know what to expect. For some people, that would ruin the experience, but not for me. If I don’t know anything about the story, now that would ruin the experience for me.

Most people would be like, “Please don’t say anything, I don’t want to get spoiled!” Meanwhile I would be like, “You’ve watched the film? Please tell me about it in details!” And it’s even worse when I’m watching a TV show or an anime. I won’t watch it until I know that the season doesn’t end in a cliffhanger. Otherwise I would actually wait until the next season has been released or until the whole series is over. An exception to this might be Harry Potter, because I was still really young when I started reading the books and watching the films. And, Harry Potter books and films never end in a cliffhanger, except for the first part of the Deathly Hallows film, so I was fine waiting for months until the next one is released.

I know it’s really weird, but it’s just who I am, I guess. Avoid spoilers, guys, it’s the sane thing to do.
