So I am going on leave Thursday. I feel safe broadcasting this since Lacie already knows and Windy doesnt talk to my mom.  I go to the airport tomorrow and find out what time I am leaving. I have to go down to Kuwait to attend more suicide briefings. I feel more depressed going to those stupid things than I was before.  Just let me go home and I

I know you probably won't see this before you see me but if you do go to Washington first and have to stay in a hotel when you come home why don't you just tell your parents that you decided that you want to be in town to see all your friends and not have to drive forever? Why don't you add that you hate that your cell phone/laptop or whatever doesn't work in the mountains and you find that very annoying and not to mention you want your own space/don't want to impose? I'm sure at least your mom will understand that you want to have the freedom to come and go as you please without worrying about waking them up in the middle of the night or having them monitor your every move.
