I'M IN A REALLY, REALLY WEIRD STATE OF MIND.
It is 7.04 am. I don't have any classes today nor I am not an early riser, which can only mean I've pulled another all-nighter working on and off on a paper. Why do I do this to myself, even now when I'm sick? I really don't know. Some strange subconscious masochistic tendancy perhaps? I was feeling so much better yesterday, but I think tonight has taken it's toll on my road to recovery. But my paper is done! It's terrible, but it's done and at this point, I fail to care about anything else. Two down, one more to go!
My playcount on the film recording of "I Could Have Danced All Night" has shot up from 3 to 22 and the original Broadway cast recording went from 1 to 12, overnight. It seemed fitting as well as lifted my spirits somewhat in this drudgery.
Earlier today, or I guess yesterday really, I started a post but I can't remember much of what I was going to say. One of the things was to pimp this post of 83 Garfield icons over at fallbirds. Either it doesn't occur to me to do it, or I simply don't get around to pimping icons, but I really love the way this person does animated/cartoon icons.
I don't deserve this, I didn't earn this, nor is it a good idea, but I'm going to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day - assuming I get up in time to spend the day doing nothing. If I wake up by early/mid afternoon, I will eat, watch TV, watch a DVD, read a book, take a walk... Anything but work on my third (and last) final paper or study for any one of my four upcoming finals that I desperately need to study for. ...It is painfully obvious how bad an idea this is.
During one of my frequent breaks from writing, one of my friends sent me these two Audrey Hepburn interviews in italiano. I have and probably always will be in awe of this woman. I feel so proud of myself to have understood some bits of it.
