Bit of this, bit of that.
I. The preview for next week's Veronica Mars has gotten me all excited. The only thing that got me in this week's episode was Logan's puppy dog look after Veronica hung up on him. I wanted to hug him. Oh Logan, why must you be such a dark, tortured soul? I just joined a couple Veronica Mars community. I'm depending on LJ more and more everyday.
II. After seeing the HBO Harry Potter preview, I've finally reached that level of excitement that a million other fans are now. My birthday this year might not be so bad after all. ZOMG HARRY POTTER!1!!!! Or something to that extent.
III. Speaking of my birthday (eight months beforehand), I'm considering not taking Session A of summer school (late June-early August) like I've been planning for the past year. The thought of taking finals on my birthday again doesn't appeal like it did last time. And I'd like to do something special for the big two-one. I haven't done anything to deserve it, but I can't think of a reason not to do it. So: I'd like to go to London for a week/week and a half around the time Harry Potter opens and my birthday. I don't know who I'd go with, or if I'd go at this alone (or if I'd be able to manage that), or anything. It's just a thought that's been planted in my mind.
Advice? Words of wisdom?

IV. I had an apple today, and it was seriously the most delicious apple I'd ever tasted in my life. I wasn't hungry or anything, so it couldn't have been that happy feeling of relief. But seriously, I was so sad when this apple was done. And I don't enjoy eating fruit. This apple, though, was something special. Kind of like the orange I had last year in my old apartment. lmcg knows, she had some. That orange was something special as well. I think it's telling when the only thing I can blog about is food. Or that the only "somethings special" I have in my life is food.
V. I think I want to go back to New York sometime soon, too.
VI. The application process for studying abroad en France begins in a couple months! Finally! Wheeeee!!
