I'm in a bad mood.

My friends and I went to see Christopher Moore at the Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica tonight. He gave a pretty short, but hilarious, presentation. He talked about how he did research by going to the UK, and while everything he said was really funny, none of it would translate here through my words. There was a Q+A session after, and most of the questions people asked were really lame ("How did you become a writer?" "What's your writing process?" etc.). There was a signing, too, but they were sold out of copies of Fool, and also it was like a sauna in there. I would have stayed and gotten another book of his to for him to sign, but I was about to pass out from the heat in the room. Also, there was this obnoxious hippie woman who smelled and kept elbowing me, and also seemed really offended that I would dare cough whilst Christopher Moore was speaking. Bitch was lucky I didn't just cough on her and give her my flu.

Really though, he's a great author and seemed like an awesome guy. It was fun. I've just been in this really weird, bad mood all day long. I haven't felt like this in a long time, at least not without a reason.
