I. After my Art History final this morning (which did not go well, but I'm not really all that concerned about it), I came back home, had lunch, and took a nap. During said nap, I had a dream that I was the Pope. It was so vivid that when my cell phone alarm went off, I was actually still thinking I was the Pope.
II. I went back to campus after the nap for my last final which was a discussion on the book and film versions of The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep. The discussion grew and then, somehow, I was able to bring in The Departed as an example which led to a whole new discussion that had nothing to do with our original topic, but was still fun nonetheless. I'd never had a final be interesting before.
III. Oh hey you guys, I finished college today.
IV. My trips are starting to get closer and one thing I'm kind of grateful for is the time away from the computer. I can't resist going online with my laptop always with me, but I need the time away. I've been feeling discomfort in my hands, wrists, and arms and I really need to give those a rest before it gets worse or develops into an issue.
V. That said, before I leave for Italy on Friday, I will for sure post at
la-poo. That journal is long overdue for an update.
VI. A girl I met in Italian class lent me seasons (or "series," I guess) 1 and 2 of "Cold Feet" and I like it so far. I have to give them back and I'm not sure where I'd be able to find a way to watch the rest of it.
VII. My host parents have been at their country house since last Sunday and I kind of miss them.
