Hey everyone! Finally Christmas vacation! No more math class! It'll be English next semester!
I've gotten most of my Christmas shopping done! I'm so excited. I absolutely love this time of year. Since I have a job this year, it's nice to be able to buy gifts for everyone.
Is it just me or is there more "Christmas offends me" stuff this year. It's getting kind of annoying. If you don't celebrate Christmas, fine, but don't try to mess it up for the people that do. I'm talking about the people who want to take the Christmas tree down from the Rockfeller Center and the people debating on TV weather or not Christmas trees are offensive. This one woman on TV was going on about if she could, she would revoke Christmas as a federal Holiday. Ummm k. Most people, Christians or not, enjoy a break from work and school. But come on! It was kind of funny.
I was at Dillard’s the other day Christmas shopping with my Grandma and there was this Godiva (sp?) chocolate stand. Yummy chocolate! Anyway, the dude said. "Merry Christmas! Here at Dillard’s and Godiva we still believe in Christmas." That was refreshing. Now, I don't have any problem with people not celebrating Christmas. I'm not saying I don't like people of other religion's holidays. I don't see people complaining about people who put Menorahs in their windows. So stop having a fit when people who celebrate Christmas put up a Christmas tree in their front yard.
