Birthday-Scrapbook for EJO!
Since EJO appreciated the scrapbook/donation drive we did for his birthday last year,
scarecrow1983 and I decided to do it again this year. However, we hope to get it done earlier than last year, because we want to give the scrapbook to him in person at the Basauri Con in Spain in early February 2010. Again we hope to get as many participants as possible, any contribution no matter what it is, is welcomed. Here are the details:
What you can send:
Basically, anything that is appropriate for a scrapbook: letters and notes, photographs, drawings and any kind of artwork.
We would also ask that you would send us your favorite picture of EJO, so we can maybe use it to decorate the scrapbook pages and it’ll make your page in the book more personal. If possible tell us the country you are from as well.
Please be aware that all the submissions should be kept respectful.
How many items you can send:
There is no limit, the more you contribute the better! However, if you just want to send a note, that’s fine, too. If you’re unsure what to send or think you’re no good at making fanart, just submit a note saying “Happy Birthday from (your name) - it doesn’t have to be anything fancy.
How to send your submissions:
You have two options:
1.) If you want to send your submission online, you can email me at F.dragon@web.de. In this case I will print out your contribution and place it in the scrapbook.
2.) If you want to send your submission via snail mail, please send me an email under the same address and I’ll send you my home address. Don’t forget to include your lj user name, so I can contact you. Also, if you decide to send something via snail mail, please be extra aware of the deadline.
Deadline:
Please submit your contribution by January 15, 2010. That leaves me with enough time to organize the scrapbook and do it properly before Spain. As mentioned before, we’re attending the convention in Spain and will give him the scrapbook in person, if everything goes according to plan.
Questions:
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to answer them.
Last but not least:
I really hope that we will get a large number of contributions, because someone as awesome as EJO deserves to be shown our appreciation. And he was really happy about the last scrapbook. So please, participate!
Please feel free to pimp this project wherever you want (you can find a banner on the main page).
