Bullet For My Valentine!
Hi all this is a little late realy but anyway here's all about my night out to the Norwich UEA to see Bullet For My Valentine on Thursday 16th Nov.
So Shelley came to pick me and my sister up at about 5.50, when she got here she gave us our bday presents (After Eight sticks, Yumm)and she told us that there was another person coming with us as well as her brother. His friend Ed was coming and buying a ticket from a friend, and first I was like Oh no one his friends, lol but once I got in the car my reaction was a little different ^_^
I sat next to Shelley's brother and on the way Ed and Robin were talking the whole time, lol the only thing I got to say to them was who the support bands were and when I did Ed said he recognised me, Shelley told him I went to the Aiden gig (which he was at also) and asked me if I remembered seeing him (he had huge spikey hair) and at the time I couldn't remember but no I think I do, lol
SO anyway we arrived in the car park at 6.30 and Ed and Robin went off to meet their friend who was giving Ed his Ticket and we walked down to the venue nd we were fairly close to the doors too, which is always good :) Waited for an hour, chatting and stuff. Once we got in the venue I headed straight for the same spot I had at the Aiden gig (on the second/third step up from the mosh pit) stood around for another half and hr, then the light went down for Protest The Hero, not much to say about them i'm afraid, just a blur of guitars (which were well played)and what could be called singing (if I could have heard the singer, lol)
So after them came As I Lay Dying, which were marginly better I really liked a couple of songs, no idea what they are called now but I liked them. After a while tho they started to sound very similar. Once AILD finished the lights went up for what seemed like an hr, then they went back down and Intro started!! :D
Bullet were amazing, much better to see them up close than on a platform (where I was for the Kerrang tour)

I've always loved Hand Of Blood but after hearing it on thurs OMFG! The pit went mental too ^_^
All the songs were awesome but Hand Of Blood, 4 Words were among the best.
The encore was the usual thing, everyone started chanting Bullet! Bullet! :D
So after the band left the stage :( I headed for the merchandise stand of course :D so did my sister Lorraine (Shelley went outside to wait for us coz she couldn't afford anything)

Once we were out of the venue we waited asround for a bit to see where the other two were but inthe end Lorraine txt robin to say we'd meet at the car so we went back. When they got back to the car neither of them wanted to get in first (whether its was that neither wanted sit next to me or not I don't know, lol) in the end Ed lost and got in next to me ^_^ which was fine by me. the journey back was a quiet one apart from Bullet music playing -_- nevermind.
So we got back at about 11.30 and I saw Patches and then went to txt John and went to bed, with my ears still ringing slightly ^_^
And thats about it really I think.
