(extras pt 1) Machu Picchu, Ha Long Bay, and Hanoi

The places in this and the following picspam are only mentioned as ones they have been to (and as ones they were planning to visit in Chinese Boxes but had to postpone because of Selina's broken leg), but I succumbed to the temptation of a bit of photo pimping. I just love the idea of imagining the two of them there.
Machu Picchu, two of the famous sunrise views, followed by two mid-day/early afternoon ones (the third from higher up the mountain opposite)
Ha Long Bay, about three hours' drive east of Hanoi. If you have been to Thailand's Phang Nga, it is similar and equally beautiful, with vertical islands sticking out of the sea. The misty weather actually made it more atmospheric.
Miscellaneous sights in Hanoi - the sixh one onwards (the one with tall trees) are pictures of the site of the country's ancient (Buddhist) university, about 1000 years old.
These two were taken at the start of a thunderstorm - the white squigglies in the sky are lightning rather than picture defects. But I did not catch any major bolts (I did on video, but it is not worth the trouble uploading that).
