Today, Me and Teresa when to Mushu (meeshu? mashu? maimshu?) and it was kinda fun as usual. Then we went to SGI. After my lesson with Mr. Chan, I went to F&D and basically sat there with Teresa since I couldn't play some of the songs they were playing.
After F&D, me and Teresa went to that SUA (Soka University of America) information meeting. I want to go to SUA soo bad now. I wanna go NOW!! We saw a video of the place and the ciriculum and the dorms and buildings and basically EVERYTHING was gorgeous. Ponds, lakes, forests, trees, swimming pool, tennis courts, the dorms were beauiful. Absolutly amazing. The food looked to good and everyone looked so happy there. It makes me want to go there so much. You get a laptop when you get there. The dorm roms are huge. There are 3800 internet ports on campus and a private bathroom for each dorm room. A living room, work-out gym thing, study room on each floor. EACH floor mind you. With plenty of parking spaces, shuttle to go to malls or whatever. Sound proof music rooms, a track, an olympic sized swimming pool, 6 tennis courts, a football field, a baseball field, surrounded by forrests on three sides, on a hill-top, a few mins from a beach, I WANNA GO.
But, to get in, they look at your high school records, extracuricular activities, your personal statements, recomendations, and your SAT scores. I really wanna make it. I really really really wanna. And it costs around $30,000 for 4 years. That's alot even with a student loan. Plus, if I want to get in, I would have to compete with the entire world. Less than a handful of people from Canada will make it. Teresa, I'm even gonna have to compete with you. =[ I wish both of us will make it.
This is my goal, my motivation, my get-up-and-go. I will get in, I'm going to try my hardest. I'll make it.
