If I remember correctly "ckrox" was mentioned on the Unfiction forums. They seem to go over everything with a fine-toothed comb so it would make sense. The "ckrox" appears on EHWR when the sphere closes up between puzzles before a video begins. I believe that it was considered to be the signature of the flash designer, like an artist signing their painting but I think it was dismissed as being "involved" further.
regarding the Ethan site, it was presented like so, ever so conveniently, on July 5 on UF. Now keep in mind the time frame here. Transformer/trailer happens July 3rd - the release date, and the first thread started on July 3 in a most logical fashion: from the 'rabbit hole' presented by the movie trailer with no name. A date search brought up the url and only thing that was there was the one photo. That led to the whois info for the 1-18 site. The flow was digging around that information to see if there was anything noteworthy, and several clues were there right off. On July 5, two days in to this *hunt for clues* someone comes in and shares the smoking gun whois for the sectorseven site. The phone number and other info is the same. The phone number was called (I even called just to hear what they heard) and it's an airport in Cali. automated line. The Pike address was a clue, not necessarily to the game content but that something argish was on the table, which is why the thread was started

Not that I expect to receive a response, but I did send an email to info@paramountstudio.com to ask them specifically if the ethanhaaswasright.com website was in any way affiliated with the upcoming J.J. Abrams movie. If by some miracle I do happen to get a response, I'll be sure to post it here (if it says anything that people don't already know, of course).

Hey, I've been following this a bit & was curious if you or anyone else has tried to translate the letters from the 1st puzzle and see if it means anything?... i'm not having a lot of luck.
You said to keep the two separate. That didn't sound to me like an option to cross post, but to delete and resubmit in yet another community (that really didn't look active enough to bother with, honestly).
Yes, I take total responsibility for the ambiguity. While I believe it would be best to keep the two topics separate, I'm not about to go about deleting posts. If someone really believes strongly that what they've got speaks to whatever connection there may be, I'm open for it; The truth is, I'm not sure the two aren't connected either.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to tell you that before your post was gone :P

That website was created back in 2004, and the flash file being linked is for spring '06.
Someone just saw "ckrox" somewhere in relation (I can't find the forum where it started from) and they googled and came across this kid's domain.
But googleing for ckrox.com brings up his personal myspace page (that links the website) as well as him using his domain to host some porn images.
If he had an actual site with something worth while, I'm sure he'd love the traffic being brought to it.
