Travelogue continued. El Fasher
It is 14th march 2011 and I am in El Fasher. There are things that need sorting out and I'm not sure if this is doable. We will see about that. For now I am staying with our Mi-26 crew, the house is nice in the usual sudanese high style. Noble intent, nice big windows, tiles and stuff. The windows are cracked and the tile has fallen off in some places.
The house is situated on the premises of the Crimson Lights restaurant, by far the best restaurant here. This is not mockery, the Crimson Lights is fit to be situated in Khartoum, or almost anywhere - big green territory, nice restaurant, many tables in the shade of trees. Very nice, considering that we are in the desert. The food is also good, I would especially commend the cocktails including various fresh juices and icecream.
Our pilots can see their Mi-26 parked at the airfield right from their house.
Finished watching the Misfits, iaw Kyka, who recommended it to me, there is only one season, which is very sad. The series is great, much better than the famous Heroes (a similar idea behind both series). All the actors are great, the characters are very believable. I also immensely enjoyed the truly english and very different accents of characters.
