Japan: our duty to feel small

Because I like this     "I am appalled not only by the power of nature that has engulfed Japan with a huge wave of mud, salt, and killed a enormous number of people. I am even more overwhelmed by the power that this tragedy symbolizes for all of us. 
Japanese culture is our beacon for progress and harmony. For at least a century, we looked up to our Japanese friends as vanguards of technology and their ability to tame the dark forces that live within human civilization."
