What the FUCK. So I restart my computer 'cos of weird shit, and as soon as it boots up, my Norton Antivirus starts scanning outgoing emails? What emails? Since when does the program do this? This does explain the ridiculous amount of spam mail I've received from the randomest people lately, and all of them containing the same thing: an attachment with 'Important notice!' tacked on it. So the people I get them from, I realize, are not vindictive geeks with too much time on their hands, but are victims like me. Victims! Of the system! Like me! I never open them, but I suspect my brother has.
My IE is fucked up now. Is it related to the outgoing emails? Beat me. Fucking pop-ups all over the place, all these unwanted extra toolbars. Who the fuck thought we'd need extra fucking toolbars? That's the absolutely infuriating, teeth-grinding, grating thing about it: a toolbar is supposed to be helpful, but this toolbar is not helpful, mainly because it is unwanted and trying to give me a stroke. I keep turning the toolbars off - 'cos you can do that, you can easily click them off - but when the browser loads another page, the fucking things come back. With every load, the fucking toolbars come back. Oh my god. They're like zombie toolbars.
Have you guys had this problem? What do I do? Reinstall IE? Reinstall Windows?
