(no subject)
I can't remember my senior year. It honest to goodness feels like last month could have been the summer of 2007. It's wild how fast senior year went. I want to make this summer one of the best. I have so many projects for myself all of which I hope will not cost me to much money, but many trips to A.C. Moore for canvas's and paint. And of course, my camera will be slung over my shoulder at all times. I want to be outside as much as possible. I want to read so many books. Basically, I want to keep myself occupied so I'm not worrying about the months ahead. I don't want to be a bump on a log.
It's summer. Finally. I hope you are enjoying it, my loves.
This morning I babysat for a little boy who is two and a half. His name is Devon. I'm in love. He is so articulate and loves graham cracker "Scooby Snacks." When I came home I had more babysitting to do...for Megan! Claire had a doctors appointment so I took Megan over to the park and took very many pictures of her. She's fabulous! She is constantly pointing to things and people wondering what or who they are. She loves Jack and Daisy. Whenever she pets them she cracks up. And she loves my graduation balloons. She smacks them all around and thinks it is the funniest ever. When Claire came home we basically spent the rest of the afternoon together playing with Megan and talking. I love my sister and my Megan!
Yesterday I went to the mall with Lizzie and Danielle. Lizzie spotted an amazing find of $10 sunglasses in Nordstrom, so of course I was all for going to check it out. I was very close to buying a pair, but stopped myself EVEN THOUGH they were $10. I did buy a great pair of high-waisted shorts from Guess on sale for $25. I was so proud. I've been looking for a pair of high-waisted shorts that are actually affordable for ages and ages and finally I have them in my hot little hands. Oh and we took a puppy out in the puppy store. We named her Delia. She was the cutest. Later in the night we met up with Wendy and headed over to Washington Rock and Wendy, Danielle, and Lizzie smoked c's and I watched because I'm too scared to smoke c's.
Tonight I'm not doing anything except editing pictures and drinking water and being home alone. I am thoroughly enjoying doing just that, might I add.
