So at the playhouse the trash can backstage was overflowing because tech week of a boring show translates to a good amount of snacking backstage. The stage manager, at one point, asked the janitor if she could empty the trash. The janitor then said that it was our job to do so (which I don't really think is true) and the next day the trash can had been removed. I guess it was her way of punishing us.
In retaliation, whenever I have trash I now search for the janitors little cart and throw it away there. Your throwing out my trash one way or another...take THAT establishment!
