Managed to get up and into class only 90 minutes late today :( Not great, but better than I've been doing, sad to say. It was drawing class and I had to produce a prelim sketch of the final project, a big one, in 20 minutes. I rocked it.
My friend Gaby came over after class for dinner and we had a blast. We have a plan for a kickass piece of internet performance art. I think we will start it in December before she goes to El Salvador. Stay tuned, just talking about it made me laugh so hard that my chest hurts.
I made a broccoli casserole last night and it's even better today!
I love getting paid to tell stories. I really do. I mean, it's awesome, if I could do it all the time I would. But why is it happening at such an inconvenient week? Schoolwork, or money.... schoolwork, or money... or sleep...
I installed Skype on my laptop, hit me up if you want my handle.
I put 9 small pieces in the raku kiln Wednesday night, but couldn't stick around to pull them, so my prof pulled them. I went to see them today and some of them look really awesome! It makes me almost sad to be giving them away. But the nature of raku is lovely, it's so unpredictable. I definitely want to try some of these same glazes next semester.
